Atlantis Real Estate

Atlantis is unusual even by Palm Beach County standards: an entire incorporated city, about 2,000 residents, built around a golf course and enclosed by a gate. It was developed in the 1960s on land west of Lake Worth Beach and incorporated in 1959. There is no downtown, no commercial strip and no through traffic, because the street plan was never designed to carry any. Most of what sells here is a single-family home on a golf course or lake lot, with a smaller number of condominiums and villas.

What is selling

Activity is thin by design in a city this small, so we report it carefully. Three houses sold in Atlantis in July 2026 and one condominium. That is too few in either category to publish a median without misleading you, since a single transaction would move it by six figures. Across the year to date the picture is steadier: 40 houses sold at a median of $755,000, and nine condominiums at a median of $255,000.

At the end of July there were five houses and eleven condominiums for sale, with three houses and four condominiums already under contract. Five houses on the market in a city of 2,000 means one new listing changes the supply picture materially, which is exactly why a countywide median is useless for pricing a home here.

Figures come from the BeachesMLS feed for July 2026 and for January 1 through July 31, 2026. The county picture is in our Palm Beach County market report.

Schools

Atlantis is served by Palm Beach County School District. Homes here are assigned to Starlight Cove Elementary, Tradewinds Middle School for about 94% of sales, and Santaluces Community High School. Confirm the current assignment for a specific address with the district before relying on it.

Getting around

JFK Medical Center sits about half a mile from the center of the city, which is one of the practical reasons people buy here. The Lake Worth Beach rail station is about 2.3 miles away, the ocean about 1.3 miles east, and Loggerhead Marina in Lantana about 3.1 miles. Interstate 95 is a few minutes east on Lantana Road.

Working with us in Atlantis

A market this small rewards someone who has watched it over years rather than someone reading a portal estimate. Gia Freer, our Broker of Record, has been licensed in Florida since 2000. PBP Real Estate is a transaction broker, and we handle probate and estate sales, short sales and relocation in house.

If you own in Atlantis, tell us the address and we will read the handful of sales that actually compare to your home and give you a written opinion of value. No automated estimate is published on this site, and in a city with this few sales an algorithm has almost nothing to work from.

Atlantis is a small incorporated city west of Lake Worth Beach, built around its golf course from the late 1960s through to the 1990s. The housing is mixed: single-family homes make up the majority of what trades, with condominiums and villas taking a substantial share and a handful of manufactured homes alongside them. The typical home is three bedrooms and two bathrooms in around 2,100 square feet with a two-car garage, mostly single story, in traditional, ranch, colonial and Tudor styles. Around a third have a private pool.

A hospital sits half a mile from the center of the city, the beach is a little over a mile east, the Tri-Rail station just over two miles and a golf course two and a half. Association fees apply across much of the city and vary by product type, which the report below separates.
