Lake Clarke Shores Real Estate
Lake Clarke Shores is a town of about 3,500 people just south of West Palm Beach, built around a chain of lakes and canals that connect to Lake Worth Lagoon. It incorporated in 1957. Much of the town is waterfront or water-access, which is unusual this far inland, and the canals are navigable to the Intracoastal for smaller boats depending on bridge clearance.
It is almost entirely residential, mostly single-family homes from the 1950s through the 1970s on generous lots, with a small number of condominiums and villas.
What is selling

Across the year to date the picture is more reliable: 23 houses have sold at a median of $850,000, and eight condominiums at a median of $262,500. Getting around
Interstate 95 is minutes east, Forest Hill Boulevard and Congress Avenue carry the local traffic, and Palm Beach International Airport is about 10 minutes north. The Lake Worth Beach rail station is roughly 1.7 miles away, and the ocean about 20 minutes east.

Lake Clarke Shores is a small incorporated town west of Lake Worth Beach, wrapped around the waterway system that gives it its name. The housing is mostly single-family - around three-quarters of what trades - with townhouses making up the rest, and the build range runs from the late 1950s through to the 1990s. The typical home is three bedrooms and two bathrooms in around 1,800 square feet with a two-car garage, and ranch is the dominant plan. Just over half have a private pool.
The town is compact and well positioned: a golf course is within a mile, the Tri-Rail station under two miles, the beach under two miles east and a marina under four. Six parks and eleven tennis courts sit within a mile of the center.
