Lake Worth Beach Real Estate

Lake Worth Beach has more early twentieth century housing stock than almost anywhere else in Palm Beach County. The city has several historic districts, and its bungalows, mission and frame vernacular houses are the reason buyers come looking here rather than three miles west. It renamed itself from Lake Worth to Lake Worth Beach in 2019, and it runs its own electric utility, which is unusual and shows up on the monthly bill.

The downtown along Lake and Lucerne Avenues has an independent retail character, and the municipal beach, pier and casino building sit across the Intracoastal on the barrier island.

What houses and condominiums are doing right now

In August 2026, single-family homes in Lake Worth Beach closed at a median of $560,000, at a median 26 days on market and 97% of the last asking price, across 107 closings. Across the year so far, 941 closed at a median of $555,000, against 844 at $535,000 in the same period last year. There are 326 on the market now at a median asking price of $600,000, and about 3.0 months of supply, which still favors sellers.

In August 2026, condominiums and townhouses in Lake Worth Beach closed at a median of $200,000, at a median 42 days on market and 95% of the last asking price, across 55 closings. Across the year so far, 445 closed at a median of $205,000, against 452 at $197,450 in the same period last year. There are 393 on the market now at a median asking price of $185,000, and about 7.1 months of supply, which gives buyers real negotiating room.

Getting around

Interstate 95 runs through the middle of the city and the Lake Worth Beach Tri-Rail station sits beside it. Lake Worth Road and Lantana Road are the main east-west routes, and the bridge at Lake Avenue carries traffic to the beach. Palm Beach International Airport is about 12 minutes north.
