History
At the point when George H. K. Sanction (1846-1892) came in 1882 to Lake Worth, he homesteaded 126 sections of land along more than two miles of sea edge in present Manalapan. In 1912 Field sold it to Samuel Goodwin, and Goodwin sold it to Leila and A. Romeyn Pierson for $40,000, and they called the property Manalapan Estates.
