Wilton Manors is a small city of about 11,000 almost entirely surrounded by the branches of the Middle River, which is why residents call it the Island City. It incorporated in 1947. Wilton Drive is the commercial spine, one of the more genuinely walkable main streets in Broward County, and the city has a long-established reputation as one of South Florida's most welcoming communities.

Housing is largely single-story mid-century houses on modest lots, many renovated, with waterfront homes along the river branches and a modest condominium and townhouse inventory.

River frontage here is not uniform: some stretches are navigable to the Intracoastal and some are not, and the difference is worth real money. That question belongs in the pricing conversation at the start.

If you are thinking about selling, three steps

  1. Tell us about the property

Address, condition, timing and anything a website cannot see: a renovation, a view, a lot line.

  2. Get a written opinion of value

  3. Decide with the numbers in front of you

Sell now, wait, or rent: you see what each path looks like before anyone lists anything.
