The community offers residents a large selection of floor plans and they are separated into five different collections featuring private locations, water views, garden views, and cul-de-sac locations. The homes range from four to seven bedrooms with two to five bathrooms and two to three car garages.
There are many amenities in the community including a clubhouse, a fitness center, a children’s activity center, a resort-styles pool and aqua lot, two tennis courts, a basketball court, and an open play area with a party pavilion.

Canyon Lakes is a gated community in west Boynton Beach, built out in 2005 and 2006 as part of the wider Canyon development. The homes are single-family and mostly two story, running large at around 3,300 square feet with five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a three-car garage. Mediterranean is the prevailing exterior. Roughly four in ten have a private pool, on top of the community's own amenities.
The setting is suburban and self-contained: a hospital is just over a mile away, with grocery shopping, a library and a handful of restaurants inside a mile. The coast is around eight miles east, which is the trade-off for the lot sizes and the newer construction. There is a monthly homeowners association fee covering the gate and the shared facilities.
