Tropic Palms is a single-family neighborhood in south Delray Beach, built mainly between 1960 and the late 1970s. Every home listed here recently has been single story, typically three bedrooms and two bathrooms in around 1,600 square feet with a one-car garage. Ranch is overwhelmingly the plan, with Key West and old Spanish exteriors on the renovated houses. Just over half have a private pool.
It sits close to the water without the waterfront price: the beach is a little over a mile east, a marina a mile and a half, and a golf course under two miles. Within a mile there are nine restaurants, four parks, four playgrounds and three grocery stores. There is no mandatory homeowners association.
